Born in the U.S. and raised in Japan since infancy, Ms. Browning is a native bilingual in both English and Japanese. She has vast experience in interpreting even prior to making it her career. Since graduating from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (formerly the Monterey Institute) Browning started her own company that provides translation, interpretation and cultural consulting for all matters involving the Japanese language. She is also a contract interpreter with the U.S. Department of State. Actively involved in the American Translators Association she served as the administrator of the Japanese Language Division between 2019-2021. She is also the 2021 recipient of the ATA Rising Star Award.
Browning is very sensitive to cultural intricacies and will do her utmost to provide the exact solution to your need at hand.
She is a KUDO-certified Pro interpreter and has experience working on multiple remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI) platforms. Browning has also presented for the Japan Association of Translators Online PROJECT on RSI during the COVID-19 pandemic and at the Japan Interpreting Forum hosted by the Japan Association of Conference Interpreters.
